In 2007 The Scottish Government rebranding and
adopted the Saltire – the flag of Scotland, as its new
logo following a major resurgence in its use. Other
government organisations sought to follow and began
incorporating the symbol into their own identity systems.
Three concepts for Scottish Water were shortlisted in a
competitive pitch, created while at Hookson Edinburgh.
Two incorporate a Saltire, while the third creatively
combines a water droplet and one of Scotland's other
popular symbols; the thistle.
